9. ASN TV Application
The ASN TV application (“ASN TV”) is an Android-based smart TV app that streams live sports content from Asian Sports Network. When you use ASN TV, we may collect the following information:
Device Pairing
If you choose to sign in, ASN TV generates a device pairing code and sends it to asiansports.com to link your TV to your ASN account. A device token is stored locally on your TV (in app storage) and sent to our servers to verify your membership status. This token is tied to your asiansports.com account and is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
Crash and Performance Data
ASN TV uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, device model, Android OS version, and network performance data (estimated stream bandwidth). This data is used solely to diagnose issues and improve app stability. It is not sold or shared with third parties outside of Google Firebase. Firebase’s privacy policy is available at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Schedule Data
ASN TV fetches the live event schedule from tv.asiansports.com. No personal data is transmitted in this request.
What We Do Not Collect in ASN TV
ASN TV does not collect your location, contacts, microphone input, camera footage, photos, or payment information. All purchases and subscriptions are managed on asiansports.com, not within the app.
Deleting Your Data
To remove your device pairing, sign out within the app or contact us at [email protected]. To delete your ASN account and all associated data, please contact us using the details in Section 11 below.
10. GlassWall and Google/YouTube Data
GlassWall (glasswall.asiansports.com) is the court streaming service run by Asian Sports Network. It films padel and other sports courts, adds live scores, and streams the video live. This section explains how GlassWall handles data from your Google account and YouTube channel if you choose to stream your booking to your own YouTube channel. Connecting YouTube is optional. If you connect, the Google consent screen shows the app name “Asian Sports Login”. This section applies to Google user data in place of any more general wording elsewhere in this policy, including the references to advertising and personal profiles in Section 2.
Which Google permission we request, and why
GlassWall requests one Google OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl (shown by Google as “See, edit, and permanently delete your YouTube videos, ratings, comments and captions”). YouTube requires this scope to create, start and end live broadcasts on a channel. GlassWall uses it only to create, start and end live broadcasts on your own YouTube channel for the court you booked. It requests no other scope.
What data is accessed
- Your YouTube channel ID and channel name, to show which channel you connected.
- Details of the live stream (stream key) and live broadcast that GlassWall creates for your booking: title, description, privacy setting, start and end time, and status.
Nothing else is read. GlassWall does not read, change or delete your other videos, comments, ratings, captions, playlists or subscriptions.
How tokens are stored, kept and deleted
- Storage and security: your YouTube refresh token is stored encrypted at rest on servers we operate, is used only by GlassWall, and is accessible only to the staff who run the service. Short-lived access tokens are kept in memory only. All traffic uses HTTPS.
- Retention: we keep the token only while your channel stays connected. If you do not use a connected channel for 6 months, we delete the token automatically.
- Disconnect YouTube: the “Disconnect YouTube” button on your GlassWall account page revokes the token with Google and deletes the stored token, channel ID and channel name straight away.
- Revoke from Google: you can also remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. GlassWall then stops working with your channel and we delete the stored token the next time we find it no longer works, and in any case within 30 days.
- Broadcasts that already went live stay on your channel because they belong to you. You can delete them in YouTube Studio.
How we use and share Google data
We do not sell Google or YouTube data. We do not use it for advertising or to build user profiles. We do not share it with anyone except as needed to run the feature you asked for, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business with notice to you. We do not use it to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Asian Sports Network’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
GlassWall uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. More about the service is at glasswall.asiansports.com/about.
